WHAT I DO
I'm Aureole , born in Auckland, NZ... an artist and lover of life since conceived. My art and tattoo practice are influenced by artistic and musical parents, art in all capacities and life experience. This practice has spanned 20yrs plus.. I've attended various art institutions, exhibit regularly and maintain a healthy life of love, art, travel, fun, gigs, foods, wine and tequila.
I'm constantly inspired thanks to travelling, the ace peeps I've met played and worked with, the support of my partner, friends family and underground punk/rock/gothic subcultures - creating a strong contemporary portfolio.

TATTOO
I love to blend art deco and macbre beauty aesthetics with themes of mythology, death, witchcraft, and ritual... all with my signature style of a red and black palette.

ARTWORKS
I'm currently working on a two series of portraits 'Creative Identities' and 'Music Heads', on canvas and wood.
More projects include jacket patches, straps and limited edition prints

I'm a creator of strong contemporary red and black tattoo and artworks.
All tattoos and artworks are custom - from concept to research to design to the skin/ canvas/paper/and various supports.
Inbetween tattooing my lovely clients, I'm working on flash sheets and a new series of drawing for prints - based on the five elements of temperament represented in a female form.
My style of tattooing ranges from sketchy linework to neo-tradism to semi realism to thrash polk collage.
My artworks reflect these influences.
